Mini Project numero UNO! making play doh!

Ingredients
2-3 cups Flour
1 and 1/2 cups Salt
2-3 cups Water
2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 tablespoons Cream of tartar
few drops Food coloring few drops( i chosed pink ;o)
Directions/procedure:
Mix ALL of the ingredients in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium low heat, until the dough comes away from the edges of the pan and it becomes difficult to move the spoon.
Remove from heat. Let it cool down and then it can be handled.
Place on counter or wax paper knead 3-4 times.
if its still mushy and still sticks on your hand add some more flour and salt and mix it
Store in an air tight container.
NOW THE CIENCA part!
When we are making the playdoh, it's hot, so when we touch it, it's all squishy and very flexible. But, if we leave it out and let it cool, the molecules packs up and then it hardens, so when we touch it, it is hard. The heat releases when the temperature cools down

Materials
- 2-5 eggs
- Frying pan
- Milk
- butter
- Something to beat your eggs with (mixer, fork, wire whisk)
- Flipper or spatula
- Salt and pepper
- Omelette fillings
- Cheese, shredded
- Onions or green onions, chopped
- Tomatoes, diced
- green and red pepper
- Ham, turkey, or bacon
- Any other vegetables such as spinach, asparagus, carrots, etc.
1. Gather and prepare your omelet filling ingredients. Eggs cook quickly, so it is best to select and cut up all of your ingredients before you start to cook. Chop these into bite-size pieces. Use any or all of the ingredients, in a combination of your choice.
2. Break the eggs. Its best to crack your eggs one at a time in a bowl or a cup (this will keep bad ones from getting mixed in), and not put them directly in the frying pan. Put them into a glass or plastic bowl. After breaking the eggs and completely mixing them(the yolks and the whites), be sure to wash your hands.
3. Place your other ingredients together in a separate bowl and lightly stir them to mix up the ingredients. Set aside some shredded cheese.
4. Pour about a tablespoon of butter onto the pan. Put the heat on low to medium heat, and pour on the eggs, spreading them evenly with a spatula
5. Take three-quarters of your ingredients, and evenly sprinkle them over the eggs. Do this while the eggs are firm on the bottom, but still slightly runny on top.
6. Pay special attention that the eggs are not sticking to the bottom of the pan, and use your flipper or spatula around the edges of the omelet to make sure that it is not sticking. Gently roll the sides of your omelet, about an inch or two
7. Roll your omelet onto your plate, or use the spatula and lift it onto your plate
8. Place the remaining ingredients on top, and sprinkle with cheese.
Precautions-Don't ever put your hand near the stove of frying pan because it will be hott!!!
- Make sure the temperature of the fire does not exceed medium temperature.
Scientific Principles
- the combination of two or more ingredients making a different one.
-The egg going from liquid point to solid point with heat
and this is how your omelet will look like !!!

David Webb and Joan Webb

Wednesday presentation was soo awesome. Learning the pressure in the atmosphere, and how objects have higher pressure in the atmosphere. With the help of gravity. One of the cool experiments that he did was the shaving cream. He put some shaving cream in a cup and put it in his pressure decreaser and he took all the atmosphere out and it the shaving cream started to increase and get white.it was awesome!!!fluids flow from high to low pressure!!!at 14.7 square feet!!lol
Star Testing

I really don't like star testing! At my old school we didn't have to test this test for more than two weeks because it was private and it wasn't a requirement.I cant wait when i am a senior and i dont have to take this test anymore. Its gonna be a releaze of stress off of me! feel bad for the freshmen who have to take the test the whole week, wait i mean the sophomores they have to take all days. I cant wait to relaxe.just relax!!..........
Changes in pressure!!!!

When the moles of gaseous reactants not equal the moles of gaseous products...
Increase in pressure shifts the reaction in the direction that produces the smaller number of moles of gas.
Decrease in pressure shifts the reaction in the direction that that produces the larger number of moles of gas
