Materials
  • 2-5 eggs
  • Frying pan
  • Milk
  • butter
  • Something to beat your eggs with (mixer, fork, wire whisk)
  • Flipper or spatula
  • Salt and pepper
  • Omelette fillings
    • Cheese, shredded
    • Onions or green onions, chopped
    • Tomatoes, diced
    • green and red pepper
    • Ham, turkey, or bacon
    • Any other vegetables such as spinach, asparagus, carrots, etc.
Procedure

1. Gather and prepare your omelet filling ingredients. Eggs cook quickly, so it is best to select and cut up all of your ingredients before you start to cook. Chop these into bite-size pieces. Use any or all of the ingredients, in a combination of your choice.

2. Break the eggs. Its best to crack your eggs one at a time in a bowl or a cup (this will keep bad ones from getting mixed in), and not put them directly in the frying pan. Put them into a glass or plastic bowl. After breaking the eggs and completely mixing them(the yolks and the whites), be sure to wash your hands.

3. Place your other ingredients together in a separate bowl and lightly stir them to mix up the ingredients. Set aside some shredded cheese.

4. Pour about a tablespoon of butter onto the pan. Put the heat on low to medium heat, and pour on the eggs, spreading them evenly with a spatula

5. Take three-quarters of your ingredients, and evenly sprinkle them over the eggs. Do this while the eggs are firm on the bottom, but still slightly runny on top.

6. Pay special attention that the eggs are not sticking to the bottom of the pan, and use your flipper or spatula around the edges of the omelet to make sure that it is not sticking. Gently roll the sides of your omelet, about an inch or two

7. Roll your omelet onto your plate, or use the spatula and lift it onto your plate

8. Place the remaining ingredients on top, and sprinkle with cheese.

Precautions
-Don't ever put your hand near the stove of frying pan because it will be hott!!!
- Make sure the temperature of the fire does not exceed medium temperature.

Scientific Principles
- the combination of two or more ingredients making a different one.
-The egg going from liquid point to solid point with heat

and this is how your omelet will look like !!!
